Been twice now over the past month (two leisure trips to Glen Rose) and it's plain old good food, nice people and a good time. The sign outside clearly states, "this is not a fast food restaurant so if in a hurry, you are in ..."the wrong place" (or something similar). All the burgers were hand pattied, fries hand cut with the skins on them. Cold beer and lots of smiles. I've been for lunch and now dinner, both times the service was very good. Love the down home feel of the very small quaint place. Nothing matches, some funk, some junk. The place just feels good! I would choose the Green Pickle over Hollywood and Vine 100 times over!
