"McGrath's is a local (to me) "Irish" pub. Their selection of micro brews is really great, AND they have copper cups if you're a fan of Moscow Mules. Their food is quite near excellent- Burgers are superb, their shepherd's pie and things of that ilk are also very good. The service is always great, a..."nd the place is friendly. McGrath's is situated just off "The Strip"- 2nd street in Harrisburg, where there is a bit of a downtown bar/party scene. McGrath's somehow manages to avoid the bulk of the knuckleheads and drunks, tho- which is not to say it doesn't get loud or crowded- It does, but folks aren't going to be overly drunk or obnoxious. "Five friends and I recently ate at Au Bon Lieu for dinner while on a business trip and had a fantastic experience. The menu is crepes only, with dozens of savory and sweet options. Everyone's food was delicious. Seating is sparse as the creperie is small (only five small round tables, I believe),..." but the location in downtown Harrisburg is great. One of the best parts was being right next to the crepe stovetops and seeing the cooks prepare our crepes.

"My favorite place in the city of Harrisburg for a creative northern Italian dinner. Don't expect any red sauce specials here. The chef prepares fresh dishes nightly based on availability of the local fresh vegetables and seafood. Unique combinations of herbs, cheeses and spices that makes the food "..."pop".
There is a very nice wine selection available by glass or bottle to complement your dinner. A small bar is available if you prefer that type setting.
Upstairs is a Tapas bar that has a completely separate menu which is also very imaginative a delicious!
