  "My wife love Italian foods and while at Lake Lure, which is beautiful in itself, we have often go to La Strata's. The food is excellent and the views are magnificent. I especially love the Baked Penne Ziti with Meat Sauce. This is my favorite. I have also had pizza (delicious), Chicken Parmagian..."a, Baked Lasagna and more. All the meals are absolutely delicious. The lunch menu is definitely sufficient for one person. The dinner menu has the same items in much larger quantities. So...if you want leftovers, get the dinner items and enjoy your meals the next day (or that night if you can't wait) If you like Italian, you'll love this restaurant.   "We ate here 3 times during our week's stay in Lake Lure. This was by far our favorite restaurant. The food and atmosphere are great. The owners, Bruce and Tina, were very welcoming. Reasonable prices, extensive menu and consistently great food! Great service."

  "For dining in vicinity of Lake Lure, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. The husband (Bruce) and wife (Tina) managers are hands on for friendly, attentive service. During a weeks stay at Fairfield Mountains we had three great dinners, one of which was a Mon. Nite prime rib buffet...." Pasta entrees and fish were delicious. Good portions at very reasonable prices. There is both casual and formal seating as well as a rustic lounge. We noted that this restaurant is a favorite for many of the local residents. " More >
