We came here with our friends who had been here on several occasions and felt immediately at ease when we were welcomed by Alain complete with a continental..." kiss on the hand for our wives. The cuisine, for the most part was excellent, especially the Mussels with Catalan Sauce to start. Whenever those occasions crop up when we do "go French", my wife and I both are gravitated to Calf's Liver as our Entree. This was a disappontment, at least for me. I've had better, yet my wife and friends enjoyed there's. Clearly the menu was excellent and in spite of the bad choice with the Liver, we will be back. There aren't many good French Restaurants around. All things considered, Alain's was still an excellent choice for us...and for you too. " More >
