"My wife and I stopped here recently for a late afternoon lunch. My wife ate fried rice and I had the udon bowl. Excellent flavors and huge portions. Great value for the price. I do not eat sushi, but did notice a steady stream of customers at the sushi bar. I agree with Brother_Kurts review. I, too,..." am a loyal Mix Pacific Rim fan, but will plan to return to Tokyo Sushi as a pleasant alternative.

"At first glance, it looks like it might be a greasy spoon, 1960's-something kind of a place. A place like you might find in anytown, USA; the average decor; the average looking help...
But WAIT! That's all wrong. You're now in a place that creates original New Mexican and Mexican specialities. I me..."an GOOD FOOD SERVED HERE!!!

I had a delicious Bacon and Bleu Cheese Burger with added green chile and a bowl of green chile stew that was tasty, spicy, but not too spicy to get the flavor, and fabulous!..." The burger was cooked just right for a medium rare...all too often screwed up in lesser restaurants. To wash all of this scrumptious fare down, I opted for a 'flight' of the dark beers, 6 4-ounce glasses of their on hand microbrews. My favorites were the Pecan Ale and the Porter.
My wife opted for the grilled Portabella Mushroom sandwich, green chile on the side, an order of sweet potato fries and a flight of the lighter beers, her favorites being the Lager and the 'Green Chile' Ale.
All in all it was a marvelous surprise experience as we were just passing through Las Cruces on our way to Tucson. The food was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. The service was speedy and co...
