  "In town for a couple of days . The first nite we ate at the Hotel Nevada. Food was way over rated and the service was below average. On our second day in Ely we were directed by a local to check out a place called Racks. We were told the food was excellent and the entire place was smoke free. We we..."re not disappointed. It is a sports bar/ restaurant combo with very good dinner specials listed on a blackboard in the restaurant. First we noticed how clean and well kept the place was. Waitress was very nice and recommended the chicken penne pesto pasta. Excellent dish!!!!! Came with salad , rolls , and fresh grilled asparagus. The sauce on the penne was awesome . A mixture of cream, cheese and pesto sauce, with roasted red peppers and chicken. It was for lack of a better word it was damn good!!!!!! We sat next to a table with a couple of local guys who had ordered ribeye steaks . We were on our way out as there food came out and it made me wish we were here for one more nite to come ba...
