  "The Thursday night special was Indian Fry Bread Fajitas. They were special. The fry bread made the dish especially savory. Two Upper Peninsula beers were on tap, along with the usual Bud Light, to go with them. The restaurant is open M-F for lunch and dinner through the end of September."

A stone fireplace in the middle of the room has comfy chairs on one side, close to the checker-board table. Free wi-fi and a computer to use. They have excellent food, from a fairly extensive breakfast breakfast (including breakfast paninis and excellent oatmeal), tasty sandwiches, burgers and salads, and very good desserts. One of their recent specials, the Dockside Burger included feta cheese on a v..."ery fresh pretzel bun. The service is prompt and friendly. They have gifts, including unique locally made jewelry, for sale. The free wi-fi and bottomless refills lend one to want to sit in Bud's for a long time and relax or work. They never make you feel like you need to move on. Additionally, they have outdoor seating on a beautiful porch that wraps around half the building. They also have a convenient drive-thru if necessary. The atmosphere is enhanced by a fireplace, musical and Northern Michigan themed decorations and comfortable seating. The landscaping is also well-maintained and lovely. This is definitely a place to visit while in the Traverse City area. " More >
