The salad was loaded up with plenty of fresh greens and veggies - no wilting bits or iceburg lettuce here. The burger was tender and juicy, topped with hickory BBQ sauce, sliced brie, and a slightly cooked slice of green apple. It was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. My only complaint would be that the fries weren't super fresh. But my burger was so big and hearty, I barely touched them anyways. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. The great music featured that night (local band Whiskey Mystic) added to this place's charm.   "My husband and I visited Big Woods on a Saturday afternoon about 2pm. There was a small wait, about 10 mins or so. Once sat, we ordered and appetizer and sandwiches. We waited, waited, waited. Finally about 25 minutes later the waitress came by and informed us that she put the order in incorrect..."ly and the kitchen had to remake the appetizer. Finally our nachos come out and they are delicious. Just as we start digging in to the nachos, our hot sandwiches come out and sit on the table to get cold as we finish up appetizer.
