"We happened to walk in to The Galley and it was packed! The matre'd tried to turn us away but we convinced him to put us on a waiting list. We had a spare table by the door in 30 minutes. The sun was just setting and the view just terrific. Our dinners were fresh seafood, of course, and they we..."re excellent. I am glad that they found a spot for some hungry travelers.

"This little gem tucked away at the end of the Embarcadero is a perfect place to order soup or sandwiches - ample servings and delicious bakery items. I had the French dip sandwich which was piled high with roast beef and came with a little crock of aus jus and a small green salad for about $9. It is cozy and funky but has some different selections that include the smoked fish and oysters and a large selection of draft beer. We started with a couple of glasses of the Porter on tap and then tried the smoked salmon wrap and the smoked salmon Taco. The salmon was very flavorful and addictive. The both come with a choice of sauces and our favorite this trip was to mix the shrimp aoli with the spicy hot so you get your favored spice feel. The service was great and Amber the hostess knows the menu and gave great suggestions for the beer and ...
