  "My only regret about our experience with Buck Meadows is that we didn't eat there all four nights of our Yosemite stay(only the last two). We loved it, pure and simple. The folks who work there are SO friendly(thank you Greg and Yvonne!), we felt as though we had been regulars for years! The food was quite good, basic home cooking - nothing fancy, but very tasty. There's beer and wine and a room off the dining area to play darts and a couple other games.   "We stopped at Dori's for breakfast on our way to Yosemite. I had read about it on Tripadvisor and couldn't wait to try this place myself! We got there as the doors were being opened and the man was so nice and as he was fixing coffee told us a little about Groveland and the restaurant. As I looked a..."round, taking pictures of the tea rooms and the patio, my husband settled in at a table by the door. I noticed how clean the place was and how attractively everything was displayed. Coffee was served and we ordered our breakfast sandwiches. A complimentary (yummy!!) raspberry scone was delivered to our table while our breakfast was being prepared. The baker made a stop by our table and chatted with us, as did another lady who works there. They all made us feel at home and very welcome. While we ate our delicious breakfast, we placed our order for a picnic lunch to go. It was made up and packed in a handled reusable bag, which we made use of during the rest of our ten-day road trip!
