"If u don't want to eat where the servers keep pestering you to, give this place a try. Maybe it's my first Chinese meal in a month hence I was craving for Chinese food :) The menu is quite extensive and fried rice portions are quite large. My chicken "hor fun" (rice noodles) portion however was just..." right. Oh, the place has a TV too so I was quite entertained during dinner.

"When we read about a french pastry shop in Aguas Calientes in the new edition of Lonely Plant we were excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the address in the book is their old location on Ave Pachacutec in the Plazoleta Winay Wayna. We walked back to our hotel a couple of times to double check ou..."r information and when we found an empty building with a commercial mixer inside we were bummed that we were not going to indulge. Fortunately, a worker inside the empty building gave us a card with the new address and with our train scheduled to depart in an hour, we made haste to find it.
We were not disappointed! This is an excellent choice if you are looking for something completely different from all the other places in Aguas Calientes. If we had found it earlier, we would have passed on the continental breakfast our hotel served up and eaten here instead.

"This restaurant was a recommendation from a friend who lives in the Sacred Valley. We finished up our tour of Machu Picchu and had a few hours to kill before our train departed. We decided to try out Tree House for a late lunch. This restaurant is a little out of the way (lots and lots of stairs)...", and kinda tricky to find (especially in the middle of a downpour), but once there, it was well worth the trouble. We were all exhausted and starving, and the food here was delicious. I had the thai chicken (awesome), my friend had the quinoa risotto (equally awesome), and our vegetarian friend had the green salad which she said was great. We pretty much had the dining room to ourselves, and it ended up being a great place to get out of the rain, relax, and enjoy a glass of wine while we waited for the train home.
