"Phat Pho is a must eat - and eat again, and again. It's casual, quick and just delicious. It's brand new to Cebu, and with its authentic flavours, the result of some pretty hard work by the resto's Vietnamese Chef, who if I have it right is also a KungFu expert! Of course he works with 2 "gwailo'..."s", Abaca Group owner Jason Hyatt and Aussie Group Executive Chef Wade Watson but it looks like he has complete control of the pretty exquisite flavours. I have tried about 10 dishes on the menu and it was just all good. I find it hard to think that I will ever get tired of this restaurant. My last dish? A Pho Ba (did I get that right?) of Beef - beautiful, tender Angus beef in a bloody good broth with fresh noodles. Man, I was simply satisfied and walked away happy.

"It was my second time to eat at this restaurant. I brought along my spouse and it was her first time to try this restaurant. Her first comment: "It tastes good, our two teenagers would love it here".
We had ordered the following:
Bun Bo Hue noodle soup - spicy and flavorful broth with beef an..."d pork. i love all the meat inside it. if
(good for sharing) you like more spicy and more sour to your soup you can add the lime, chili,
and vinegar with garlic that comes with the soup. obviously the chef
took a lot of time to slow cook the meat because it was very tender. i could
taste a lot of spices that went into its broth preparation. if i am not
mistaken, some anise, vanilla and coriander. the noodles were average.
Shrimp Salad - the shrimps were fresh and so are the vegetables.

"Whenever in Cebu, don't miss out dining in Casa Verde.
Serving sizes are huge...really huge. It's definitely good for sharing, with both of you having your fill. The Big Bang Burger, for example, is a 9-inch burger, as shown in the photos.
But still, the price is affordable. Their best sell..."er, Brian's ribs, is just priced at P208 (roughly about US$5).
However, I highly recommend that you reserve seats beforehand because the waiting list tends to be long since Casa Verde draws a huge crowd during meal hours.
