It was a lovely setting in a very ornate building. We were shown to our table in a small dinning roo..."m. We were told that it was a 10 course banquet of Hue specialties and costing US$15 each. Just after we ordered 4 people came into room all dressed as emperors of the 19th century. They were 4 Aussies on a tour and had chosen to dress up. Anyway the first course came and it looked fantastic. Then followed 9 more lovely courses. Here was the only issue we had was that there was not enough time between courses.   "We found the Cafe, which is tucked away down an opening between the Sunrise Hotel and Omar Khayyam's Restaurant. We were given a warm welcome and enjoyed chatting to the staff and learning a few Vietnamese words. We had a great meal at fantastic value for money! This really is a hidden gem! Thank..."s to Trip Advisor I found Nina's Cafe and emailed Nina prior to our visit and she was so helpful organising airport transfers and day visit with local guide around Hue as she also runs Purple Lotus Tours - highly recommended! We were picked up from our hotel and had a very full day but what stood out for us was that we were taken first to Tu Hieu Pagoda where we were privileged with only two other tourists visiting at that time to see the monks and nuns singing and praying. It was a brilliant day and Nina is happy for you to choose what you want to see from her list and is great value for money - thanks Nina. x " More >

  "I had a fish on chilli and lemmongrass sauce and it was simply fantastic!!!!! The taste was perfect: spicy enough to enjoy it and feel all the flavours. Also drinks were very good, the mango shake was awesome! Totally recommend!"
