I don't know why there aren't queues down the street for the Boathouse any evening it's open! People of Galway, whether you're as far away as Clifden or Ballinasloe, make your way to Oranmore, as any journey would be worth it. We're blessed to live on the doorstep of this absolute gem but would gladly drive for hours to enjoy another meal here. On one of those recently rare sunny days, we were able to dine outside behind the dining room.at one of several tables available for such fine weather.
