The restaurant itself was really nice, extremely modern, which looked kind of out of place in the little village it was in. Our waitress was very nice, though our lack of Italian and the lack of an English menu made understanding some of the dishes impossible, resulting in some unexpected dishes being served! All in all it's an excellent little restaurant to dine at, and a fair competitor to the 4 Gigli, a restaurant a few streets down, apparently also great, which was full when we tried to eat there.   "Stopped here out of convenience. Fell in love with the flavors. Went back for seconds and the owner gave us sample after sample as he chatted about his method, recipes and the craft. All told, the three of us ate about 5 scoops each. Wonderful service, wide variety of traditional and unique flavors,..." and amazing quality. Flavors we had include: grape (tasted like the most amazing grapes ever but better), peach (same amazingness as grape) fig and goat cheese--so creative, with real fig pieces, and several more we can't even recall.
