But I recommend a pichet of rosé wine, a plate of charcuterie, or a chevre chaud salad, and if you are hungry add a bowl of chips. Cakes are good too. On a sunny day, eat while lying back in a deckchair, marvelling at the view. In chilly weather you may want to swap to a vin chaud besides the stove and look out the back windows if the snow hasn't drifted over them. Even though it looks like a tearoom, this husband and wife run restaurant services up some of the most delicious French classics I have eaten in a while. T..."he set menu is very good value. I had snails, steak and lemon tart for around 25 - 30 euros and the food was superb - couldn't have asked for better. They also do half carafes of wine at very reasonable prices.
