"My husband and I had a late dinner on the outside patio. Our service was friendly and efficient. Our waiter spoke German, English and Italian. The menu is available in these languages as well as French. It was spargel season, so I had to try the spargel creme soup. It was pure heaven. I fancy myself..." an asparagus expert and this soup did not disappoint. It was the best I have EVER had. Both of our meals were outstanding. I had the wildragout, which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the swiss veal which was teriffic as well. Our total bill for appetizers and mains was 46 Euro, a good price for the top quality meals we received. Although this place is located near the tourist packed Golden Roof, it didn't appear to be a tourist trap. We noticed many locals dining here. The beer menu is a bit sparse, but if you love wine, the menu is extensive. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

"We had our young grandsons with us in Innsbruck and they wanted pizza (they like to try it in every country they visit!) so we stopped here. They were happy with the pizza and the adults each tried a different kartoffeln gerichte -- they were fantastic! If you stop here you must try one! Even thou..."gh you are just going to a pizza place, you can still try something with a local flavor. We also enjoyed eating outdoors, again perfect for those with children.

"We visited Studel-Cafe twice - once for dessert and once for lunch.
Both times I got the gluten free cherry strudel, which was fantastic - get it with whipped cream! One note for very gluten sensitive folks - the GF strudel is kept in the same case as the others, and is touching the regular strud..."el - so definitely cross contamination.
Hubby got the chocolate/hazelnut strudel for dessert the first night, and the sour cherry strudel for lunch/dessert. He said both were fantastic. They warmed both of our strudels in the microwave so they were melty and delicious.
For lunch we both got sandwiches - mine was on gluten free bread. They were smaller sandwiches and didn't come with any sides - hence the need for dessert strudel the second time. They were very tasty but nothing outstanding. Still - five stars for the whole experience because we felt it exceeded expectations and the prices weren't horrible.
