It is white asparagus season in Bolzano and Anita Restaurant had several dishes featuring this glorious vegetable. I had an entrée of steamed white asparagus topped with sliced prosciutto; served with "Bolzano sauce" (a creamy, egg-based concoction) and boiled potatoes.
