"Excellent food. Me and my partner had bruschetta for starters between us. The bread was divine, fresh and crispy with diced tomatoes on top. For main, I had the monkfish tails in white wine sauce. It was absolutely sublime, the monkfish was tender and the sauce full of flavor. This came with some ro..."asty potatoes and a salad on the side. Even though this was pricy around 25euro, it was worth it. I then ordered a chocolate cake for dessert which was nice, my partner had an almond dessert which was heaven! The service was fantastic, really helpful waiters and they were good banter. Before we left they offered to ring us a taxi and gave us two sambuca drinks on the house!

"Stopped off in castlebar, the location of this coffee shop, in the towns main car park is excellent. We popped in for coffee and were pleasantly surprised. There room is large with some booths and free stand tables. There is a large self service style counter but they do table service. We had e..."xcellent coffees with a delightful begal and a fruit scone. There were other options of sandwiches, paninis, the usual coffee shop fare, our appetites did not lend US to sample them but they looked really great on the other customers plates. The staff were friendly and hard working. Great location and great food. Would recommend.

"Castlebar is not Dublin, London or Mumbai. It is a busy town in the west of Ireland. A generally rural area. Therefore what the Dhaka restaurant is offering is far beyond what one might expect. The vegetarian fare was perfectly acceptable. The complimentary poppadoms were accompanied by no less..." than five relishes. The vegetable curry was tasty and a second helping of rice was offered. Unlike some restaurants we were asked whether 'all was alright' as we went about enjoying our meal. We did not try the desserts.
The only adverse comment is that the soft drinks and bottled beer were a little expensive. Less of a mark up, especially on the soft drinks, would be worth considering.
The staff whom we encountered were all friendly.
