"I attended a day conference at the adjacent St Swithun’s Church (beautiful redundant church in the care of the CCT) and ‘the olive branch’ provided the lunchtime food in the porch area, which is next to their outdoor courtyard. It was absolutely excellent and enabled me to sample quite a few of thei..."r menu items, such as the paella, patatas bravas, tortilla, bruschetta rosso, and many others. It was very professionally presented and managed and seemed to go down well with all. I only visited the actual restaurant building to use the normal facilities, but the variety of spaces impressed me, and I visited the ground floor and cellar bar areas, and not the main first floor dining area. I also need to mention the friendly and helpful service from the staff members I encountered on the day.

"I've visited the Old Rectifying House in Worcester twice now.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They also have a selection of interesting beers that you wouldn't typically find. They also have plenty of cocktails.

The upstairs area has plenty of cosy little rooms that you can relax in and have a few drinks. Some of these rooms look a little tatty, but it is a very old building.
All in all, one of the better places in Worcester. The only let down ...

"Myself and two friends came here last night without a booking, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us. There was a good selection of things on the menu - and my guests were delighted that they could choose from either chunky chips of fries! The food was perfect - so much so I found mys..."elf waking up this morning thinking about my dinner. Just one small complaint - the food was quite pricey and for the best part of £20 for seabass and prawns, I was a little disappointed to only get three prawns. Never mind though! We spent the rest of the evening sat outside by the canal. Will definitely be coming back!
