  "We chose this restaurant based on previous reviews which were spot on in terms of attentive service, good food and excellent value. Service was friendly, if a little prompt, and the menu offered a good range of options. The wine list is limited but offers extraordinary value - we pondered the white ..."Rioja before opting for a Sauvignon, and when we feared we were really outstaying our welcome (the only diners left at 9.30pm!) the host brought is two complementary glasses of Rioja - a lovely gesture which allowed us to extend our evening beyond 10pm! The food was very good - my cheese souffle with pickled rhubarb and beetroot was great as was the sea bass with fennel (though possibly slightly heavy on brie and cream which it really didn't need). The only disappointment was to find ourselves alone with the staff in the very small dining area so early - but it was an unseasonably bleak evening. Restaurant Eleven is a good new addition to Bath's offer and I really hope they succeed. " More >
