  "My boyfriend and I decided to go to L'ortalan, It was recommended by friends and i certainly would recommend it further. We had the 7 course menu, each and every course delicious and delicately flavoured (dont understimate this, however). Into the dining room to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal, the only dish I didnt love was the sweetbreads, however I did try them and the flavour was devine , for me it was the texture. The sea trout and lamb were my favourite dishes. The staff were attentative but not to crowding, they should be incredibly proud of what a great job they all do!   "My wife and I attended a private party at the Shoulder of Mutton recently, it was our first visit and certainly will not be our last. From start to finish everything was superb, friendly staff, excellent food and great service. Even when I returned my pint of beer it was replaced immediately with ..."no question just an explanation that it was the end of the barrel and it was just being changed.
