  "We had read about Safta's Kitchen online before our trip to Invermere and decided to give the location in Radium a try for dinner. We arrived around 8:30 PM for dinner, so the place was mostly empty. We started chatting with Roy (the owner) and he gave us the whole back-story behind the restaurant a..."nd how he ended up in Invermere/Radium from Israel. We decided to order the platter for 2 to share. We had both the falafel and the chicken shwarma. I have to say the food was excellent. There are a few places we've been to that serve falafel, but it is often of the "pre-made", reheated variety. Not at Safta's. The falafel are made fresh to order, just as we experienced in Israel. The hummous and salads were also homemade and very authentic. Even the french fries had a nice Israeli flare to them due to the subtle spices added on top.
