  "We booked a table for a Friday evening they were very friendly and polite on the telephone and this level of service continued on the actual evening. We were never rushed, the food was lovely, service was wonderful. Very clean. Good value. Will be back and do recommend."

  "Food is consistently good...both eating in but also take away.....BUT..the owner sits out the front collecting the money and casts a dark shadow. For instance, normal take away process you report to the Shadow. Me; Good evening. Him; Grunt and says something to bar staff. Me; Take away for M..."r S...Him; Shuffles through orders..£27. looks at waiter. Me; Here we are. Him; Says nothing takes money, eventually gives change. Me; Thank you. Him look away and talks to staff. His staff are excellent...but frankly...I always leave this restaurant, swearing never to return.
