"Astonishingly beautiful place to rest and recuperate those aching leg muscles. On a sunny day it's well worth booking a table on the raised decking with red sofa-style seating and chilling for as long as you are able to! Not cheap but the food is sometimes exquisite - one plat du jpur (filet mignons..." du porc) was to die for, while another (lightly curried pork with very stodgy rice) was a real let down. Friends and family who had the ribs, bolognese, salads etc - all raved about their food. But whatever the strength of the food - this is a place to revel in the glory all around you and make that small lunchtime beer last as long as possible.
Service very prompt once you've ordered - but sometimes hard to get your waiters attention (no hardship so long as you don't have a rendezvous to get to)

"We were so delighted to find this restaurant close to our chalet, which was so much better than your average ski restaurant.
We went for an evening meal.
The starter for one person fed the four of us - it was so generous and tasty.
The duck my husband had was the best he had eaten. All our food w..."as delicious and the puddings were excellent as well.
Service was attentive and just at the right pace.

"this is a busy piste side cafe, bakery restaurant by day but by night thrice weekly becomes a more beguiling romantic destination . its accessed by a short walk from les arcs 2000 or by skidoo much more exciting for kids of all ages , by torch or lantern light.
the food is traditional enough savoie..." fare hearty cheese and meat with a twist, they do meals complete inside a 'hovis' loaf with sauce such as chicken or vegetarian
the kids favourite is their own miniature oven and cooking utensils on the table playing out their muppet swedish chef routine , this would be unthinkable in health and safety riddled uk or usa but the french laissez faire attitude seems to inspire them to good behaviour! the melted cheese and fresh bread filled up all heartily
the staff were pretty child tolerant and friendly by french standards so a good time was had by all
