We eat here almost every month and always have a fantastic meal. I have never had a bad experience in the 2 years I have ordered food from here.
Never disappointed at the excellent food served at this restaurant. Lovely presentation, and freshly cooked food. Tried the chicken coriander curry last night which was a new one for me, not too hot but certainly more kick that the usual kormas! Also tried the cheese, garlic and coriander nan bread, delicious! Special fruity rice, yum! Good value!
We were staying opposite in the Haigs Hotel, and having read the reviews decided to go round the corner, boy am I glad they were full. Came back and asked them if they could fit us in, no problem was the answer. We got their last table. There were 4 of us and we all totally ageed, this was a... More
Arrived unannounced on a wet and windy evening. Was greater at the door, offered a drink, the staff busily set about getting a table ready for us, order promptly taken and good food. It's nice to be treated by a restaurant that wants your custom. Well done guys!
The food is always good, and service to match, although staff are sometimes over attentive. You always get a great welcome on arrival. Food is very "clean" and your plate is not swimming with gee when finished. Cafe Tamarinds is definate "quality" not quantity kind of place. Would recommend.
I have to say , yes it was a Saturday night ,,but a 70 minute wait from starter to main is too long..average food,
We have been going here for years and always loved it. Had a takeaway tonight and it had no flavour at all it was really bland so I think that will be the last time we visit Tamerinds
A great restaurant. Menu very extensive and includes information on how spicy each dish is. Staff very friendly and service excellent. Good value for money. Limited parking which can be a tricky at times. However parking is also available on the other side of the road. If you smoke tables are outside with ash trays.
Ate here with work colleagues. Good quality Indian cuisine, and very flexible in meeting one of my colleagues dietary requirements. Service OK, price OK. All in all, good, but plenty of other places in the area just as good so unless in Balsall Common, not particularly worth a trip.
We use Cafe Tamarinds fairly regularly for take-away and the food's usually pretty good. Only eaten here a couple of times but it was all fine.
