You won't go hungry at this place! It's a charming little house with lots to look at inside. They serve wonderful homemade food in large portions for reasonable prices. The homemade lemonade was excellent. Just wish we could go back more often - too bad it's so far away.

We were blown away by the fresh flowers and beautiful presentation of the food here. We also love seafood and everything we ordered was as delicious as it was great-looking! Great service and selection, cozy atmosphere, and friendly all-around. The salmon for one of our dishes was grilled fresh right outside the front window where we could watchy! And their... More

Traveling through the gorgeous area as part of the Selkirk Loop scenic drive in beautiful British Columbia, Canada we just happened on this little restaurant for a late lunch. It is in a cute old house, with many antiques, a white picket fence and even a "bed but no breakfast" upstairs. My mom and I shared a very tasty pasta... More

We decided to give this restaurant a try when we were in Kaslo recently, and are so glad we did - it is now our favorite restaurant in the area, and in my opinion warrants a visit to Kaslo just for the pleasure of dining here! There were 3 of us, and we tried the quiche and salad, ribs, and... More

I had been here years ago. It had always been great. Came here for dinner on a Friday night. I ordered the chicken in pastry with Camembert cheese with a stuffed potato and my wife ordered locs on bread and the onion soup. I had thrie home madel iced tea which was excellent. The rest was very disappointing. The pastry... More

This restaurant is pure magic. From the first turn down 5th Street (the really only main street in Kaslo) this pretty little rosey pink building stares at you at the end of the block. Arrive at the restaurant and turn around and see a view unlike no other. The economy has changed since 1998 when it was the only find... More

Had lunch sitting outside in the front garden patio. Fabulous salad which we shared - it was so large! Our waitress was lovely.

I was at this restaurant last year and thought I had made a poor choice, chicken pot pie. This year I went for dinner and had the roast beef. I was disappointed again. And the prices are high for the quality.

Grant is the part owner chef of this mountain magic cafe. Generous servings of classic cafe fare. Prime rib over the top and the home made berry pies will make you wish you ordered desert first. Charming service and toys for kids. Ate two nights in a row
