Totally a must if your in the area or a place to travel to the food is fantastic and her puddings WOW there to die for.. we was there only a week and we had to experience it twice but even ate at different restaurants on other nights but went... This was definitely our best meal in Portugal so far- warm welcome, excellent food & wine and reasonably priced, miss Chicca and her husband should come to Paris and teach the French a thing or two about how to run a restaurant! My husband loved the chorizo pie (he's French and very fussy) while I had the roast pumpkin, sage... More

We decided to visit this restaurant to see why it was no 1 in praia da luz. When we arrived we were made feel so welcome even with our 6 month old son. The food was fantastic from start to finish, everything 100% homemade, the dessert menu in particular was unbelievable, definately leave room or get to take away for... More

Delicious, fresh, organic, healthy and very tasty food! The portions are perfect and come with perfectly decorated, but no nonsense, salad and veggies on the side. No surprise miss Chicca is half Italian half British.... What we taste is the best of both cuisines. The desserts are perfect, the shortcake does tell you this is made by someone who knows... More

OMG! Despite the general area being very touristy, we decided to try based on tripadvisor ratings.we were NOT disappointed! Everything we chose was really good. Special mention for the salads and the aubergine parmigiana. We will be visiting again while we are here on holiday. I think it was good value for money and whoever cooks the food here cares... More

Having eaten at Chicca's on a number of occasions and enjoyed it, very disappointed when had to return an expensive under-cooked steak and then have to wait for more than 15 minutes for it, by which time others I was with had finished their mains. When I tried to explain to the owner why I didn't wish to eat alone,... More

From the welcome at the door to the final glass of port at the end of the night, dinner at Chicca's is a night to remember. The owner's enthusiasm for her craft comes through in every delicious bite. Melt in your mouth prawns and the spectacular mango tart were the highlights of the meal. It is a great experience packed... More

This was a really great restaurant with an imaginative menu, good portions and a lively atmosphere. It was very busy and had some lively staff, well worth a visit.

We went here on our last night of the holiday as we had heard rave reviews. It definitely didn't fail to impress, we were kindly allowed in even thought the kitchen was technically closed and had 3 courses of complete taste sensations! lovely staff, lovely interior and ambience and fantastic food, pricy but worth it especially for a special occasion.
