The food is excellent with a very good choice and the staff very friendly. We had the 2 course menu at £15.00 there is also 3 course menu at £20.00. The Arms is set in a lovely village and is ideal for walking.

Brilliant. Welcoming staff, cozy atmosphere and tasty food. Doesn't open for lunch during the week but fairly rural area and I doubt they get the footfall in the current economic climate. Excellent Steak, good menu choice and the Chef came out to check all was ok for us. Really enjoyed our evening and would willingly return.

The food at this gastro pub is superb - I think it is one of North Yorkshire's very best. Imaginative and delicious

pub was warm and pleasant toilets clean, Meals were ok but a little pricey 4 pub meals, Not a lot of choice and some meals were not available as party of 25 booked in and not enough food.

The pub itself is very nicely decked out, and it is comfortable and warm. The food is another matter.
