We ended our 3 day Camiguin trip by stopping over at J&A Fishpen for dinner, we also spent our final night here. Since we spent most of our money during our previous activities, we could not afford the to buy their crab or shrimps. But we had a big and super fresh (Straight from the pond) lapu-lapu fish that was... More

I was really looking forward to this place but the food was disappointing. My chili crab was too sweet and only so so. They charge you extra to sit out by the water too. The atmosphere is nice and I did have a great mango shake but I would have liked to have had better food.

Pity me! I just found out about TripAdvisor. Have I known it before, I would have written this review right after our trip to Camiguin. First time: After being picked up by our tour guide's multicab from the airport, we were immediately brought to this place to have lunch. IT WAS A FEAST! Kudos to our tour agent as well... More

We went here one evening for a seafood dinner. The food, as we had been told by friends who live in the island, was very very good: perfectly fried grouper with sweet & sour, and very good chop suey. The location is very nice, with a view over the lagoon (in the daytime, of course...). Only (small) setback was that... More

We visited the restaurant just before our ferry back to the mainland. The location is very nice next to the lagoon. The staff were very helpful, and gave good service. The food we ordered was very good indeed and we were very surprised by the good value. Would highly recommend while on Camiguin!!

Arriving famished in Camiguin after a not so fast Ocean jet ride from CDO we decided to have our lunch in J & A Fishpen. We were fetched by our tour guide from the port and advised us to order lunch since it will take 1-1 1/2 hours for the food preparation. Everything is freshly cooked. We ordered buttered Sugpo... My husband first tasted J&A 14 years ago - and he still remembers it as some of the best seafood he's ever had. Happy to report that J&A has not skipped a beat in all this time and is still serving up incredible dishes in a cool, green, clean space perfectly situated to pick up the sea breezes. Kaon na... Not happy with the food at our resort, we asked around where we could find great seafood. Our friendly boatman at one of our tours told us to try J & A. We were so happy we did. First, the food isn't dirt cheap but with seafood this fresh, it is definitely worth your money. We ordered chili crabs, grilled... More

Great food! Value for money. Rent the floating huts. See different kinds of fish, crabs, sea urchins in their fish pens. Great service.

J&A Fishpen is a hidden gem of a restaurant built on the Binoni lagoon. The fish pen allows fish eaters to catch their own fish and give it to the kitchen to cook on the spot, however there were enough vegetarian options to keep me happy too. We had lunch here 2 or 3 times (both as a couple and... More
