The Harlequin is at St Lawrence Gap and thrives on outdoor dining. The menu is cosmopolitan and of a reasonable standard. Service can be slow, but this is Barbados, and the gap has lots to see. Being located near a lot of large hotels and bars the Harlequin does not need to try too hard, and it doesn't. A better... more

Harlequin was on my "list" of restaurants to try and did not dissapoint. Good local food prepared well and presented nicely. Outdoor seating on main road in The Gap. Good wine selections and cocktails. Many restaurants / businesses in Barbados do not accept American Express, Harlequin is one of the few that does. Almost all take Visa and MC. more

This place is charming and cozy, with excellent service. The food was very good, especially the dolphin which I had. My husband has allergies to sulphites, and the owner was extremely helpful. We recommend it, and would certainly go back again. more

We dined at Harlequin on a Wednesday evening. We didn't make a reservation but they weren't too busy and welcomed us. The food was lovely and the evening made for a most pleasant dining experience. We sat at the bar for a few moments while awaiting our table and the bartender was mot entertaining and pleasant as well. more

Located in the heart of the St. Lawrence Gap, nice outdoor seating, good people watching since the seating area is elevated. The service was good, a little slow but very courteous wait staff. The food...jusk ok. My appetizer was excellent I had the smoked marlin salad - a very unique combination of flavors that blended together nicely! After the app... more

We went to this restaurant with our three children based on the reviews we had read. I thought it was a bit pricey and the food was a bit overdone. (i.e. fish and lambchops). There were very few traditional Bajan dishes on this menu which we prefer. Service was a bit slow. more

We ate in the Harlequin Restaurant on the last night of our holiday and having read previous reviews, we were not disappointed. Even though we hadn't booked and it was clearly very busy, we were told that a table would be ready within minutes so had a drink in the bar. Everyone was extremely friendly with a varied menu from... more

HARLEQUIN (St-Lawrence Gap): Next door to the Rostrevor Hotel, right in the middle of the Gap. Fantastic fish dishes. We shared the smoked marlin salad then we had seared tuna and blackened flying fish, both to die for. Great service, good ambiance with the little white Christmas lights everywhere on the outdoor patio. Can’t comment on dessert we were too... more
