You have to take a trip if you would like to try their famous egg tart, it real good as they freshly made. You could actually have a light lunch then dessert and walk around as there's a small town which is quite interesting

I guess that's the original place ... it does look small from outside ...

having been to Macau several time over the past 10 years, I finally had the privilege of visiting the famous Lord Stow's cafe. When we arrived, we were lucky as the queue for the egg tarts were short. The egg tarts were to die for. A must try for anyone visiting Macau! Will definitely be back again for it soon!
I loved the tarts and even took some to go. They were flaky and I could taste the eggs. I had wanted to go to Lord Stow's bakery but since I was in the Venetian Hotel, it was more convenient to go to the cafe in the Venetian. You can find cheaper egg tarts in Macau and Hong Kong but...

In our view, there are two excellent makers of the Portuguese egg tarts in Macau, Margarets Cafe e Nata and Lord Stow's Bakery and Cafe. However, in the end, we have come to prefer the Lord Stow's tart experience more than that of Margarets.
The tarts at Lord Stow's (MOP8 each) are nice and creamy and the flakiness of the...

If you want to try Lord Stow's famous egg tart, the one in the Venetian Hotel is the easiest one to find. Located in the shopping area and near the canals. If you find a good seating you can even see some of the gondola rides while eating your yummy egg tarts. They offer hot and cold drinks, salads, sandwiches,...

I cannot go past the original Lord Stowe's - the Garden Cafe - every time i'm in Coloane. Nothing beats the flakey texture of the pastry and the creamy egg custard filling. There are plenty of fresh salady items on the menu if you need a veggie meal. On Sunday the special of the day was an English Pork Pie!...

Three locations within a block of eachother (from south to north):
---Lord Stow's Garden Cafe --- the largest location ... breakfast and lunch entrees, large menu, great, fresh food. Western dishes; portguese dishes. Full service, seats 30 people. We liked our large chocolate croissant that was served perfectly: warm, crispy, and flaky.
---Lord Stow's Bakery --- the broadest variety of...

Excellent egg tarts and bakery treats (I tried also a delicious cheese croissant). I went for the take away service and stopped to eat them in the Coloane seafront. Sorry that I couldn't taste more food.
When in Macau we always have to pass by either Lord Stow's café or bakery. Here you can have delicious eggtarts. To be honest, so far THE best I have ever had in allover places... No other place can beat Lord Stow's ones!!!
It's Nice to have a café and sit on THE terrace, enjoying THE.... Eggtarts... . Off course...
