We decided to visit on the spur of the moment for some lunch. I'm not sure if they still have the Michelin star but the food and service were of excellent quality. We had starters,main courses and four drinks and the bill was around £80. The ambience is very relaxed the waitresses were not over attentive. 10 out of 10.

We had a lovely meal here on Saturday. Pigeon breast starter and pork chop main were very good. The real ale was also of a high standard. The staff were helpful and friendly. Chose the Olive Branch as a stop off on a long journey North. It was a beautiful day and we sat in the pretty garden waiting for the doors to open. This really is an excellent pub. Nice pub type atmosphere but with restaurant quality food. They have their own real ale , Olive Oil, and great selection of wines. Log fires.
