Great pizza but understaffed and no real atmosphere even though the manager (a waiter) is a really nice guy everyone seems stressed out but over all need more staff.

We thank the gentleman for the positiv review and comment about the pizza but we get the impression als if the customer would have been in several restaurants and mixed them up somehow....we are definitely not understaffed, we are not all stressed and we do not have a waiter...

We just loved the pasta an beef with Truffels & tartuffos ! And the jolly owner is very welcoming . We will go back.!

Del Sonno is a restaurant we frequent often when in Bagni Di Lucca. It has a great atmosphere and is very friendly if a little expensive. Try sitting outside if the srtreet is closed and the weather allows.

A restaurant with very good menu and excellent food. Owner speaks English. The mushrooms when in season are a must as is the pork steak

I went back last night for the third time in as many weeks because my latest guests said that they wanted to repeat the experience. Nothing loth, I used the occasion to explore the extensive range of porcini mushroom dishes, eschewing for once my usual warm seafood starter.

There seems to be only one accurate review on this restaurant and that is from "drastically disappointed " July 11th. We have lived in the area for 20 years and used to frequent this restaurant regularly when the previous owners served very good quality food .Since it has been taken over we have tried it out 2 or 3 times...

The customer Hirschowitz had obviously some prejudice to start with, our home-made maccheroni with wild mushrooms are generally loved by everybody and it cannot be that thousend of guests have no idea about food but "one" only, anyway he finished them. We stopped in on our way back to Bucca from Barga. My husband and I were with our kids (9 and 11) and his mother and stepfather. There was something for everyone on the menu--pizza, grilled meat, salad, etc. My son had delicious veal, and my caprese salad and shared pizza were delicious as well. The owner is super friendly....

We were in town for a family wedding. We decided to try the place on our first evening in town. We had were seated at a large table on the sidewalk which is where we wanted to sit.
