We had a wonderderful birthday evening meal at Topes. The service was excellent and the food wonderful. Great place to enjoy a romantic meal by candle light and also a special celebration as the staff make you feel very welcome. The food choices were very good, especially enjoyed the 'ham, egg and chips' starter!!

We have just had a lovely lunch at Topes and as always the service and the food was delighful. To be able to visit a restaurant again and again and have food of the same high quality is wonderful, we always pick it when we are thinking of celebrating special occasions. Keep up the good work.

My husband and I had lunch here last week on a visit to Rochester. After reading glowing reviews expected much better. When food arrived it looked beautiful on the plate, but we both agreed that taste was lacking. My bread and butter pudding, however was delicious. Thought it overpriced.
