Visited with my Grandfather and children and had the cream teas and homemade coffee cake. Lovely and accommodated for wet pushchair which helped alot. All the features dotted about the tearooms were great talking points and even had the kids interested. Lovely.
Not much Victorian in here, lacked imagination in its props. It was like sitting in a room with no theme, service not bad, would I visit again, Maybe not sorry.....

Proper tea in a china cup, excellent sandwiches and scones, although i think my sister could of eat the lot!
Lovely cafe which serves various titled Victorian "High Teas" as well as toasties, sandwiches, cakes etc.The staff are very polite and friendly and are dressed up too in black dresses and pinafores which is a nice touch.Good place to go if you want to relax and chat and want to go somewhere that's "different".Good value and nice food. Will definately be going back!

Lovely place to relax with Victorian-style "high tea" served throughout the day. Well-behaved dogs welcome inside and out.

Luckily we were served first. Menu could be laminated, so easy to clean. We chose a round of sandwiches each and scone with tea, think this was the afternoon...
