This is the kind of experience for which we travel. On a damp evening in late April, when the treasured restaurant in our albergo was closed, we visited the chef’s recommendation—Cantina Follie-- down the road in Tremezzo. What a great recommendation. We walked up very steep stairs from the lake front after asking a passerby for help in determining which... More

We stopped here before dinner for wine and cheese. The owner is very knowledgeable about the varying wines and helped us to find the perfect red based on our tastes. Highly recommended!

We went here for a wine tasting accompanied by som cold-cuts and cheese. This place has excellent service and we enjoyed every second of the wine tasting. The Dutch owner focused on how and where the wines are being produced and we got to ask questions that he gladly answered. We got to taste 5 different wines that all tasted... More

This wine bar is tucked out of he way, situated up a number of steps away from the main stretch of restaurants. A wonderful find as the selection of wines is endless. The establishment offers a wine of the day which is worth sampling. Our two visits here trying the wines of the day were not disappointing. Also worth trying... More

Wine bar with a great atmosphere hidden away up the steps behind Tremezzo lake front, run by a lovely couple who speak lots of languages and are enthusiastic about their wines and locally produced food - very 'cool' atmosphere - great for aperitvi

Called the first day in Tremezzo , the atmosphere is fantastic with the quirky cave like rooms, the staff are well experienced and the food amazing. The wine is plentiful in choice with loads of advise on hand if required. Just dissapointed it closes on a Tuesday !! Looking forward to the next visit. Made a rainy day very enjoyable.

If you are a wine and prosciutto/salami lover, this is the place for you. We really enjoyed the wine, food, ambience, and atmosphere. The other customers and staff were all very warm and friendly, we had a wonderful night here. One recommendation, you must have reservations.

I was there with few good friends during our stay in Bellagio, when i walked through the tiny antique staircase i already got a feeling it's gonna be an amazing place - and it was! I went to cantina follie on Sunday but it was fully booked so I went Wednesday. Good things come to those who wait and the owner was very friendly and had superb knowledge on wine.
