What a great little pub... We called in for lunch.. Huge meals homely meals.. Gorgeous fireplace.. Outdoors just beautiful.. Having lived on the land I could appreciate the location.. Friendly staff.. Well done guys..

This is not derogatory but it is great pub grub. Burgers are burgers and chips are chips - how they should be and in generous portions, especially after a round of golf, and come the winter, will be great for après ski too...! Nothing short of a great atmosphere and the service was fast and efficient.

Food is excellent but the atmosphere is even better. Worth a stop for a drink or meal in this historic and charming spot.

Inviting and warm, sums up this hotel. The open log fire is blazing and the staff are welcoming. We ordered fish & chips and a bar platter. The portion sizes are huge, so much was still left on the plate. It is a great place to separate out your drive between Queenstown and Wanaka.

Out door garden to enjoy your beer or indoor rustic old decor... perfect piece of history. I am so happy got to say at Waiorau homestead which was down the way. We even got to see the historic photo album / scrap book. Definitely worth a visit! My fiancé got the lamb.

Stopped for a speights and drank it out the back in the beautiful garden. Would be very easy to settle in there for a long afternoon! Barman was warm, welcoming and friendly

We were told to stop here by a local, glad we did, what a beautiful place. Step inside to the history of the hotel, then sit in the lovely garden outback, make sure you try the apple pie delicious. Friendly locals willing to tell you of the history of the hotel.

A bery pleasant stop. We had a lovely lunch and then sat having a beer in the garden, which turned into a second beer. The beer garden is absolutely charming and the whole place has been lovingly restored.
