I doubted they could move from the cozy confines of Oakley into the spacious location in Downtown Cincinnati and duplicate the experience, the fear being the quality of the food would tail off. Well we will never know, because they are smarter than me and didnt try to duplicate the reinvented and introduced new items. Same high quality, wonderful food,... More

We have been to many great restaurants in many cities around the world and Boca can stand next to any of them. The space is beautifully designed with interesting touches including a huge chandelier and one raw brick wall, even the bathrooms are interesting! The service was fast and right yet never obsequious. The food fabulous including the Hamachi Crudo,... More

Go and experience Boca! They have transformed the old Maisonette into a fabulous contemporary setting and loaded with culinary delights! The bar area is open and lively (also noticed folks eating at the tables placed in the bar area). Our dinner was phenomenal. Our taste buds craved more. What is really cool is there are tasting & full portion options.... More

This is probably the best restaurant in Cincinnati. My husband and I went to the new location downtown (we've never been to the other one), and it is beautiful inside, great space and decoration, great service and great food :) I had the Grilled Romaine, Mediterranean Sea Bass and for dessert the Brioche Bread Pudding. My husband had the Caramelized... More

New York? San Francisco? Paris? London? CINCINNATI? Incredible but true, maybe it's not as totally ethereal as Frenchy's in Paris, but this is, after all, C-I-N-C-I-N-N-A-T-I and for this city Boca is a home run. Let's skip the food for the moment and start with the WC's. That's Water Closets for my less worldly friends. They're uni-sex, deluxe, elegant, fun,... More

First a confession: my son is in the restaurant business and I'm a former critic for a city magazine. So I look pretty hard when I try a new restaurant. I'd heard of Boca long before it moved downtown a week or so ago into the space vacated by Maisonette -- another legendary midwest restaurant. But I wasn't really expecting... More

They have moved to downtown where the Maisonette used to be. Just reopened this week. The portions looked small but were very rich. Could have not eaten another bite by the time we were ready to leave. The grilled Caesar salad was to die for.

Boca is always a great dinning experience. I was there during their last week in this location. They are moving to downtown Cincinnati shortly. Hopefully, they will keep the high food quality and service which Boca has always had. One suggestion ... my son loves the sliders which are not on the main dinner menu. You can have them as... More

Wood fired grill. Sous-vide. Sushi. Outstanding food and wine list. Given the above cooking styles you can actually go here and have a reasonably healthy meal (but only if you try!)

We have eaten at restaurants all over the world. Our most difficult cuisine to enjoy is Italian. My wife is Italian and nothing compares to Grandma. Occasionally, in the hills above Sorrento, in the Tuscan countryside, on a back street in Rome, at a trattoria in San Francisco, or a tiny restaurant in the West Village, she will find the... More
