Great food! Wonderful flavors. We had the spicy tofu dip, seared ahi, and boca rota...wow, they were each delish and generous servings. Don't let the outside fool you, it's very nice inside and service was good as well.

Well, my family and I were very excited to try uncle Bo's due to the menu and reviews. Unfortunately, nowhere on their website or any reviews we saw, did we see any hours of operation. So on a Sunday afternoon (1:00 pm) we made a special drive over to uncle Bo's and to our surprise the hours of service were...

Just went back again, since we always like the service & enjoy the food.
This time took my husband for his birthday since he always ate the garlic steak & I always order the opakapaka.
Regretfully my husband said that his steak had a lot of gritz in the steak and wasn't soft as before.
As for my opakapaka, I...

The food is excellent, plentiful and affordable. Creative dishes that are loaded with flavor. The dynamite shrimp, pork belly appetizer, and Boca Rota were three of our favorites. We got stuck in the back of the place, which was a little disappointing. The front area of the restaurant has a great vibe and lounge like feel.
looks like a local plate lunch kind of place from the outside, inside is a modern, trendy bar and restaurant. obviously a local favorite. lots of appetizers to choose from - our party of four adults split several of them - blackened oysters (yum!) katsu sashimi, sliders... really great food. dessert was a treat. parking can be a pain, but...

We walked from central Waikiki, about 20 mins, to this modest local eatery and found it to be a delightful experience. It was rather understated from the outside but obviously very busy and a favourite with the locals. Finding it hard to choose from the very extensive menu we settled on two appetisers to start that were recommended by the...

After reading great reviews on trip advisor we decide to have dinner at Uncle Bo's. Not going to lie I was a little reluctant to eat there after I saw the place from the outside. But decided to go in and try it out. All I can say was wowwwwww!! Place is really cute inside and food, drinks, service was...

My first time there, I thought it was nothing great from the looks of the outside, boy was I wrong. The staff is wonderful, the inside is inviting, elegant, and very classy. The appetizers are to die for, the boca rotta, dynamite shrimp, kalua fried rice, and nachos are a must. They make awesome drinks too. In the past 6...

Never would have found this place without quizzing our hotel bartender. This is primarily a local place, but actually walkable (long walk, but we did it) from Waikiki. Atmosphere is a little loud, you feel like the table next to you is part of your dinner party. Looks like it has potential for a fun bar scene, but we always...

Recommended by surf instructor as a local place that had great food. He recommended the Boca Rota and it was as good as advertised. Several other good choices like Dynamite Shrimp. Highly recommended. Around a mile walk from Waikiki Hilton.
