The food is surprisingly tasty, and of course the beer is great. The service is good, and you cannot beat the atmosphere. We will definitely return!
If you are familiar with Kona's main beers I suggest ordering their seasonals/one offs. They serve beers here that are only available at the brewery and this pub. They had the Vanilla Thrilla on tap and it is one of the best beers I've ever had. (Side note, it's and Imperial Stout so if light lagers/ales are your preference it's... More
This is our third time to a Kona Brewing Co establishment. We sat at the bar which had sticky cement countertops. Bar staff was mildly attentive and seemed more interested in story time with what appeared to be locals. The food was good. The garlic cheesy pesto breadsticks were fantastic despite the huge soft chunks of roasted garlic. The over... More
Wife and I each had a great meal with a beer flight. The view was great, right on the marina. The service was exceptional. The Kona beer selection is large and will satisfy the beer enthusiast. Can't say I enjoyed every beer but we each found a beer that we loved.
We sat outside as the noise level inside is terrible. We ordered some pupus and waited and waited. Finally the manager came out and comped our appetizers (he said the kitchen was having issues) since the wait was over 45 minutes. It only got worse from there. We then ordered lunch hoping that the kitchen problems had been taken care... More
I've visited this Brew pub five times since it opened and only due to my out of town visitors wanted to go there. The view is good for lunch and the food has always been mediocre and overpriced. Good beer on tap of brews you can's get anywhere else other than the Kona Brew Pubs. At night and especially during... More
We eat at Kona Brewing Company on a regular basis. Originally I was attracted by the beer, but it turns out that the food is just as good. We recommend the pizzas, burger, Greek salad, and fish tacos. The pizza is one of the best on the island.
Good place for a few beers and sharing great food & pizza with friends. Prices are reasonable, but the restaurant can get a bit loud if it's crowded and it's mostly open-air on the waterfront, so it can get a bit hot/humid depending on the weather.
Nice water front location with good food and good service. The beer was also very good. We visited twice while our son was diving with Reef Pirates who were amazing.
