Lumberyard was referred by the hotel and am I extremely indebted to them. The beer is excellent, the burgers (ate there twice) were awesome but, most importantly, the staff is really friendly. Traveling solo, I sat on the bar on my two visits. I've visited a large number of Micro-Breweries and I would rate this one in the top 10%.... More

My wife and I recently visited Flagstaff and headed downtown. We ran into a local and asked him where we could get a good casual meal. He recommended the Lumberyard Brewing Company so we gave it a try. Some might call the place noisy. It was hopping with many college students and hockey playoffs on TV. But to me this... More

Great atmosphere and great food too. Had Margaritas, not the beer they brew, but understand the beer is excellent. One item on the menu I had to order was the Irish Egg Rolls! Yes, Irish Egg Roll, take an egg roll, fill it with corned beef, cheese and sauerkraut like a Ruben, deep fry it and you have the Irish... More

All of the brews at the Lumberyard are good/great. "Most" of the staff is very attentive with a good attitude (there's always "one" if ya know what I mean). Regretfully, I must rank the food as "OK"....It's not bad, it's just OK... Wings at "Altitudes" are much, much better. I WILL return to drink.

Very busy and lively bar and eatery. Good value overall but food was average quality and some beers not available.

We are Flagstaff locals and brew pub fans. The local area is spawning one claim to fame brew pub after another. We have gone to Beaver Street Brewery since it opened. It's brews are lackluster and inconsistent at best. Food is fair to good. So we thought we should see what was new at Lumberyard. I've been in Flagstaff over... More

For the record, Beaver Street owns Lumberyard. Same beer (really) but under different names. I'm from Atlanta, which is Cherokee for "no good beer"...so yeah, the beer at both places is awesome, but consider the source.... The thing that sets Lumberyard apart is the food. Beaver Street is very good, but Lumberyard is that much better. I had the Vietnamese... More

walked from our hotel, pretty jet-lagged and whipped. Nice big place right on the tracks...good crowd outside on a chilly evening. We were told originally that our wait would be 20-30 minutes, but as soon as we perched at the bar they called us in for a hi-boy table. We opted for deli-type sandwiches that were just OK, but the... More

Neat place. Unless you get a booth though, you'll be sitting on hard chairs. The service was great. I got the Harvest Chopped Salad. The grapes were really squishy and the dried cherries were so dry they were hard to chew. I mentioned it to waitress and the manager ended up taking it off our tab, which was very nice.... More

We had seen both the sunrise and sunset at the Grand Canyon and were looking for some good food and brew pretty late at night. We found both at the Lumberyard. Service was quick and as I said before, the food and brews were excellent!
