You would never expect to find very good Salvadorian food in this rather nondescript location in the La Tienda Center south of Avenida Vista Grande (and across from the Eldorado Supermarket). I have eaten lunch there several times and recently went there for dinner, and the food and service have always been good. The Salvadorian food includes some different flavors... More

Very good attentive service that shows how much this restaurant appreciates their customers! The wonderful Salvadorian food came out hot, fast, and piled high on my plate! I ordered the chicken Salvadorian tamales with green chile and green rice, and was I impressed! So good to have food with an amazing blend of flavors that isn't the same old thing.... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at La Plancha. I had the pollo pibil - very flavorful, served on plantain leaves with bananas, orange flavoring and green rice - but the complete surprise was to have two complete dinners in good surroundings with attentive service like I am used to, two glasses of wine and a... We went there for breakfast during the week. My husband and i ordered the hievos rancheros. The food was good. It comed with black beans and potatoes. The only complaint i have is that the waitress was on her phone the whole time. We were the only ones there, i guess she disnt care. As she got our coffee, she... More

The food here is really top notch. Entrees are a little pricey, but you get plenty of food and it is often different and very well made. Love to come here when I can. There is also a Sunday brunch that is a great deal and a wide assortment of items.

Very relaxing. Not the usual Santa Fe Mexican. Nice change from all the chili you get at ALL the other restaurants. Even has a great and fresh salad. Give it a try!

The menu offers excellent Salvadoran food at reasonable prices. On my most recent visit, I chose to go healthy. I ordered steamed salmon in banana leaves with a salsa, salad, black beans, mixed vegetables, and avacado. The dish was amazing! To taste this good AND be so healthy was an extra treat. I would take this dish for taste over... More

Our friends love this restaurant and brought us here for lunch. The chips and guacamole were a delicious start. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. The atmosphere is fun and casual. But I have to say my favorite part of the meal (even though my meal was delicious) was the Tres Leche cake. Oh My!

Love the menu from their guacamole/chips, salads to so many varied entrees (Salvadoran tamales are yummy, seafood tacos or pasta... oh, come on Friday... my mouth is watering). The staff is family (theirs and becoming ours) and very good at what they do. Volvemos...
