I had Veggie Chilli and buttered toasted bread and it was amazing...And although the food was excellent I love the atmosphere in this place...I took a book, ordered food, grabbed a table and enjoyed reading and people watching for a while...They also make a mean Hot Chocolate topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle...Need I say more!

The Bean is the go-to meeting place for islanders. I'm writing right now before heading out to meet a friend for his birthday! (Shhhh.) Really a comfortable place, with a happy staff and great sandwiches. And cookies. Ohhhh, those cookies. They're my kryptonite... Don't miss The Bean if you're in Friday Harbor.

convenient lunch stop, huge panini sandwich could have fed two people. We end up taking half with us.

Extremely friendly staff. Great place to have coffee while waiting for ferry. They have a ferry cam so you can see when yours is coming in.

Really nice, locally owned and run. A good cup of coffee and delicious baked goods! They also have a loyalty card, f your staying for more than a couple of days!

Everything was fresh & tasty. Lots of selection and great coffee drinks. We went back three times just to try out more of the bakery items. The coconut cookies are really amazing!
