Great local gem. Better than any of the tourist Mexican restaurants on River Walk. Great salsa and wonderful fresh sauces on all their dishes. Ate here twice for lunch during our 5 day visit. Was within walking distance from our bed and breakfast.

Wanting to try something away from the glitzy Riverwalk, we walked to Rosario’s. The restaurant was larger than we expected, since many TripAdvisor reviews said it filled up fast, and it had a casual, funky, fun décor.

Delicious. Soup bowl was huge, more than you can imagine. Delicious unique flavor. Had a seafood stuffed in poblano pepper. Oh my gosh. Great creamy nurturing flavor!
You must have the puffy tacos. They were delicious. The margaritas were out of this world. GREAT place to eat. So glad the cab driver told me about this place.
If you want a feel for Tex-Mex food and good atmosphere, Rosario's is the place. Lunch or dinner, doesn't matter. On the weekends, they have live music so you can dance to great Latin music.
This place had delicious Mexican (Tex-Mex) served by friendly staff in an atmosphere that is best described as a lounge/club setting; much nicer than I expected approaching the building. Just a few blocks from the Alamo and other attractions, well worth it.

However the best of all foods were found away from the commercialized and overcrowded riverfront to a more local restaurant called Rosario's near the King William neighborhood. The staff was attentive and helpful with food choices. The...

Took some clients to dinner here. It is within walking distance of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. All attending have great, authentic Mexican where they live. Food was considered very good by all, service was excellent, and drinks were good. I would not bring business clients back to this restaurant because it was so loud you could only carry on a...
