Paloma Blanca is one of the best non-tourist restaurants in San Antonio. Great food, great selection and great service. Enchiladas Dimas, shrimp and mushrooms in a wine sauce, is a specialty of the house, but there are many good choices. They even have special menus - Gluten-free and Paleo http://www.palomablanca.net/main/menus.asp. Be sure to save room for Flan or a Pastel... More

We hit this place at least once a month for lunch or dinner. I had my retirement party with about 60 people here a few years back. Excellent food, great service. We frequently hit them for lunch and there chalupa and a small margarita -- then home for a nap. THey have a good web site and frequently advertise special... More

My husband and I frequent Paloma Blanca on a regular basis and always feel like we get great service and delicious food! I took my family there who was visiting from out of town, including my sister who was recently diagnosed with celiacs disease (highly allergic to gluten). Paloma Blanca has an OUTSTANDING Gluten Free menu. It's a full 2... More

Really good food with an entire paleo menu (although be wary of the beans which are not paleo)! I had the beef tacos which came with lettuce wraps. We also had table side guac which could have used a little bit more salt, but that was easily remedied. What was great was that they served it with plantain chips! The... More

Busy Friday night created a longer wait for a table, but served a beverage while waiting and then seated thereafter. Food and service were very good and reasonably priced. Noise level is high so don't be surprised.

Had a very good dinner at the restaurant. Service was responsive with the exception of bizarrely bringing the bill before even asking or offering dessert. The guacamole made table-side was fresh (obviously), tasty, and a generous size. I think it's a must-order. The queso-chorizo appetizer was practically just queso, so that was a slight disappointment. Dinner consisted of the steak... More

We have been there several times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Sometimes there is a wait for a table. (ALL the time, actually.) More than once I haven't cared for the location where we were seated, but that is to be expected with a venue that is so very busy, In a city with... More

We have heard and read many good reviews about this restaurant, so for our anniversary we decided to celebrate at Paloma Blanca. We had reservations, which was very good even on a Tuesday evening, and we were seated promptly. The place was full which we took as a good omen. After being seated, we waited for about 10 minutes before... More

Had an amazing meal here (can't comment on the prices as I did not pay). Wonderful starters, including nachos done as singel chips with excellent queso and great guac and jalapenos, stuffed poppers and two different sort of tacos. Then a great main plate with enchiladas, taquitos, just lots of food. The Tres Leches for dessert got raves too -... More
