The restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious!! The best thing are the amenities with your dinner - bruschetta, Demi tasse of hot chocolate, and biscotti. Definitely added to the quality of the meal.

Before I get into my review I should note, when I dined at Cucina Toscana Valter was still there. I have read that he has since left so I cannot vouch that the food is as it was then. I ate at Cucina Toscana as part of a large business dinner. My colleagues in SLC had been going on and... More

We were in SLC after our Utah vacation to be near the airport so we could fly home the next day. The front desk at our hotel said Cucina Toscana was her mother's favorite restaurant so off we went. The food was really fabulous, fresh ingredients used throughout. My only knock was the prices, but how else could they insure... More

I know it seems I love everywhere I eat in SLC, but I've been both careful and lucky, I guess. This was a business dinner for 12, and we had the chef's sampler menu - and all I can say is: come hungry and don't eat the bread! Roughly 6 fabulous appetizers - the most fantastic of which was asparagus,... More

A New York City native, I was raised on amazingly authentic Italian cuisine. Having moved to Utah in 2001, I have yet to discover edible Italian and pretty much gave up on the thought of it...until now! Some Park City friends have often raved about Toscana, and I finally had the chance to dine there this week. It's a beautiful,... More

I have visited Cucina Toscana on numerous occasions and have always had impeccable service. However, my recent visit left much to be desired. First of all, I was saddened to learn that it is no longer Valter's restaurant and that many of my old favorites were no longer on the menu. Additoonally, the service was extremely slow, as we waited... More

Let me say first that I ate her a few years ago and many changes have been made. I ate here today with my wife. She decided that she finally wanted to try it after refusing to eat here after finding out that I ate her with our oldest son a few years ago when she was out of town.... More

The food here is very similar to high end restaurants in Italy. Creative approaches throughout the menu. The spaghetti con vongole with a light sauce of shallots and peppers was among the best I have ever eaten. Small list of wines by the glass.

Cucina Toscana has been our go-to place for very special occasions for a number of years. We have loved the hustle and bustle, great service and food and just the overall atmosphere for special occasions. We loved Walter too. Our most recent, and last, visit to Toscana was such a disappointment that it prompted this review. The restaurant has expanded,... More

The tomato salad bruschetta tasted a bit burnt. I've never had it before, but I don't think it should taste like that. It was complimentary so I can't complain too much. I had the veal with truffle fondue and oyster mushroom and I enjoyed it. The veal wasn't overcook and the sauce went well with it. I made the mistake... More
