Went there for breakfast and dinner. Best breakfast in New Zealand! Pleasant meal in the evening, probably the best stake ever. highly recommended, nice staff too!
This was recommended by our B&B hosts. As a sports bar, it has a very good atmosphere with outdoor tables. However, it was extremely noisy as there is a helicopter landing field across the street! The bar has a variety of menus so not short of choices however it is certainly not cheap for a sports bar. Nevertheless, it is... More
I like the friendly smile of the staff, they are also very patient to explain to you what the dish taste like if you ask their opinion.
Service 5/5 Food Quality 4/5 Meal Size 5/5 Vine selection 4/5 Price - 4/5 (bit pricey for a pub meal) They are not cheap for a pub, but I can tick the box for everything else. Food was warm, cooked properly, good quality ingredients and awesome service.
Surprised to see this restaurant is currently No. 1 in Franz Josef. We had the mains of Nachos and Chicken Parmigiana with a side order of onion rings. This is my first time eat lunch here. It's great. Good food and friendly service.

We ate dinner here and the place was packed, although only mid november. Service was excellent and the meals arrived extremely quickly. I had mussels andy friends had kebabs, thai curry and warm lamb salad. All was hot, well presented and absolutely delicious. I noted the reviews about different servers and we also had 2 or 3 different people but... More
