I would not go out of my way to eat here, but if you are staying close by it is a must! Great bar , easy and relaxed. It's not a romantic night out , it's more of a bar and grill feel and located in a strip mall. Kids no problem. It's upscale enough though at night to still... More

The best fries ever!!! You can't stop eating them! And Mai Tai with Lilikoi foam was superb. Service is fast. It is a busy little place. Fish entree was OK. I wish I got a personal pizza instead.

Very good dinner here today (May 16, 2013) and solid service. I suggest that you reserve, especially if you're opting for outside seating. Hey, it's Hawaii, you do want to sit outside, right? And, you can reserve by calling or online through OpenTable. Inside seating may be a bit noisy with the crowd and the band. And, yep, the bar... More

Had to wait about 1/2 hr for a table-we went to the bar for a drink while we waited. Bar was busy for only 2 bartenders so service was slow but the speciality drinks were good. The Mai Tai is worth trying-unique with the pineapple foam on top and strong! My husband and I shared their grilled wings which were... More

Monkeypod is always a good bet for dinner, but recently we had an exceptionally great time. 6 of us together (3 for business). I had a wonderful steak special that could not be missed. Our server was Kevin, and he was awesome. He appears so mellow and cool, yet he knew everything about the food and extensive bar options, and... More

All I can say is - YUM! The place fills up early and so a table can be a bit of a wait for a walk-in, but if you're not against sitting at the bar you can get right in. They serve the same menu and the service is great. The bartenders are engaging and very entertaining. The food is... More

We had dinner last night (May 10) at Monkeypod's in Wailea and had another amazing meal. On this visit, for an appetizer, we ordered their garlic truffle oil fries with parmesan cheese that comes with house made ketchup and whole grain mustard aioli for dipping. Cannot get enough of these fries! The fries were amazing on their own but to... More

Personal size pizzas, tons of great beer on tap, live music and decent prices for Maui area. Close to wailea hotels/resorts. Good for families too.

We ate two meals here, lunch and dinner. Had fish tacos and pizza. Both good choices. I loved the Mai Tai, it was unique and the taste amazing. We ate dinner at the bar because restaurant was busy. Walked from the Grand Wailea. It was farther than we thought, and maybe not a great choice to walk in flip flops... More
