We came here twice during our trip to Woodstock and were delighted with the pizza both times. Not a fancy restaurant, you order at the counter and pick up your food. BUT... well worth it if you enjoy a good pizza. There are three sizes of pizza. They also have soup, pastas, salads... Run by a very nice local gentleman... More

This is a small pizza joint in Woodstock where they prepare your order while you wait. Got 2 pizzas, one with cheese and bacon, the second with shrimp, mushroom and anchovy. Pizza was average in size and taste, nothing great about it. Also tried there chicken wings which were good and the baked ziti which was ordinary.

This place was recommended by a person at hotel. We wanted spaghetti but weren't famished so decided to share a spaghetti and meatballs dinner. It was HUGE, and came with a small loaf of italian bread and a side salad for $8! We could not eat it all between the 2 of us! The red sauce could have been a... More

OK, you know the story. In a tourist town like Woodstock you can always find the now typical over priced " Gourmet " lunch. You know the grilled chicken slathered with Tarragon Mayo sort of thing. But do yourself a favor. Get in your car and drive the short distance to Plzza Chef. The owner is the kind of colorful... More

As noted in a previous review, this is our go-to place for pizza and comfort food. Anytime we are traveling home late and need dinner but don't want to cook, we stop in at Pizza Chef. Chef Alex and his staff always make you feel at home and while the food isn't gourmet, it is well prepared and tasty. In... More

If you are in Woodstock and want average pizza that you could make at home stop here. Everything was mediocre. Not bad but nothing to write home about. The sauce just taste generic and no real flavor and it tasted the same on the pizza and in the spaghetti., The sausage was awesome. Over priced for what you get.

What is it with pizza places that think people want to eat pan pizza ran through a conveyor belt oven with sweet ragu bottle sauce. Every item on the menu is bowling alley style quality and worse. Avoid

Everything at Pizza Chef Woodstock is well prepared and tastes great. Love the eggplant and olive pizza; eggplant parm; Greek salads. Owner/Chef Alex and family are the most wonderful people and do so much for the community.
